Royal CaninⓇ is an international pet food manufacturer. It has a substantial portfolio of products and is driven by the purpose to create ‘a better world for pets’. As one of the nation’s most-trusted pet food producers, they distribute their products to thousands of stockists throughout the UK and Ireland, including pet superstores, independent retailers and veterinary surgeries.

The Challenge

Having worked with the Royal CaninⓇ brand since 2007, we have developed strong relationships with several members of the team. In that time, we have created and distributed a broad range of promotional materials for retail outlets, including pavement signs, window decals and display units.

Most recently, Royal CaninⓇ approached us with a desire to mobilise merchandising for veterinary surgeries across the UK and Ireland. They wanted to help vets start conversations with pet owners about food, encouraging them to try a new brand.

The Solution

We worked closely with the marketing and merchandising teams to create a suite of attractive, eye-catching promotional items for vets, with cat-friendly clinics in mind.

Materials included separation barriers, designed to split waiting rooms into specific dog and cat areas, pavement signs and even weigh-station merchandising, so that owners are exposed to new brands when weighing their dogs.

The Results

Veterinary practices across the UK and Ireland are keen to promote Royal CaninⓇ brands with their clients, raising awareness, starting conversations and encouraging sales.
